These butterflies were once my friends.
Caterpillars they were, as I now am.
They are free.
They are new.
They are beautiful.
From my cocoon, my jail, I watch them.
I see who I could be, who I want to be.
I cannot escape.
I
AM
STUCK.

I have a fascination with butterflies and regularly compare myself to them. We all transform, just as they have.
