Hiding Behind The Cover
Thousands and thousands of books line store shelves
Each wearing their own cover image and identity
Behind each cover sit dozens and dozens of pages
On each page are sentences upon sentences
That tells the story of that particular book
There is no way to know everything that relates to the story
By simply looking at the outside covering and title
Each event of the plot builds the story and strength
And creates a backdrop that no other has identical
Along with every piece come mistakes and configurations
That still appear after being modified and discriminated
If you really think into it books are just metaphors for us
We all have our own plotline and details and looks
And we all have our unseen details and battles and patterns
And that’s simply why we’re told from such a young age
To never judge a book by its cover
