In those blue eyes
There is something you can't see
She is suffering
Wanting to escape
All her life
Beaten and hated
Never felt loved
Always was scared
She needed a way
To escape this world
So she took those pills
Slipped away
And suddenly your standing there
Staring into those same blue eyes
Wondering what you could've done
To save a life
