Prisoner of Iron Screens
I want to see your face.
Tired of this cat and mouse chase,
Your voice gives me hope,
but I can’t deny my urge to splurge.
Tired of the messages, I want to see you for
Who you are not a photo or a Skype.
In the game of love I am obviously the loser.
I want to meet you face to face,
Not only on my computer screen.
Like magnets we are pulled together
But the distance repels us.
This distance is tearing my heart into pieces,
Screaming in my agony,
My agony is there when you are not.
Your my life line and I’m about to let go.
Flat line love is like a battery,
And my energy is running low.
Lets please get together and make an elegant bow.
Tired of electronic love,
Our love is a machine prisoner of this distance.
These iron bars are strained from my attempts to get to you, PLEASE!!!
I want to meet you with out screens... and without wires....
