A steady beat,
a rhythm,
a feeling,
peaceful and free.
Fresh morning air greets me,
as a light breeze hits my face.
Soft warm fur sets beneath me,
his mane glides back.
A steady beat,
a rhythm,
a moment.
No fear, nor care,
unimaginable.
My favorite place,
with my best friends.
As one carries me,
the other runs,
panting beside me.
A steady beat,
a rhythm,
a sound.
Made only by a horse,
galloping down a dirt road,
Carefree.
