"my life is a simple thing that would interest no one. it is a known fact that i was born and is all that is necessary."- Albert einstein

I never thought,

It'd end this way.

I can't feel anything.

At this rate I'll be gone.

I feel the cold cement,

I'm lying on the ground.

The lights are going out.

God please don't take me.

I can't bare to see the pain,

On my parents' faces

When they see me,

Stone cold and dead.

I held my head up high

As I said my last goodbye.

"Tell my sister that I love her.

I'm sorry that I'm leaving."

Didn't think I'd leave like this!
I still had things to do like travel and explore the world earth.

But now my time is up.

I never should have left the house.

Didn't think it'd be my last goodbye!

Back at home my parents get the news.

My mom breaks down;my father cries.

"Why?" my father asks.

"Who did it,who was it?"

"We don't know." the police said,

"We'll figure it out soon."
"Her last words were "'I'll miss you,

And goodbye.'"

"Tell her sister to be brave,

Protect mom and dad."

My time is up too late now,

Didn't think it'd be my last goodbye.

the reason for me writing this piece was because i wanted to write about how i would feel if i was the victim of a drunk driving accident and what it would be like during my last moments of life because of the accident.
