Yesterday's Pain
I step with a confidence that does not exist
I look with a pain that is all too noticeable
My eyes cast a dark shadow upon the world
One that no one fully sees
I am the one who controls a world
That is all too painful and all too perfect
Ive gotten my gun
And told you what I can do
I can't face what I've done
It hurts too much
Even though I force myself daily
I block out the world and bring memories
Memories that cast love among the world
But memories that bring me pain
The pain of yesterday
