Slowly it moves when activities flee,
But never will its importance be grater to thee.
Just a silhouette of an image to be,
It can bring the end of you and the start to me.

Man made, but nature knows its ways,
Nature does by nature as people just obey.
Never ending, molding life like clay,
The power to make something close seem so far away.

Constantly passing by, but never ever seen,
Its effects can be observed with a plant from a seed.
Everyone has, but constantly needs,
Can make a leader follow and a peasant a king.

Never okay with the pace that its at, We all wish it faster or for it to turn back.
Always abused, but never will it crack,
Because a little appreciation for it will keep you on track.

Worrying about having more of it will get you less,
But we all ask for more when we need less of the rest.
Its' hands they turn, but no arms nor chest,
Used correctly, it can transform the worst to the best.

Controlling all, it continually climbs,
Changing pennies into dollars, or millions into dimes.
Guiding what we do, like walking on a line,
We tend to forget that we are all controlled by Time.
