Writing like its summer
That first day
All the hard work
Was worth the wait.
Sunshine gleaming
Teenagers screaming
It’s the end
To a new beginning.
It’s the best of the year
The stars seem to go low.
Where did the time go?
Moments collide like dominos
I’ll make sure to never let my emotions show.
I’ll go down the road.
Soon I’ll have to go home.
I just want you to know
Sunshine you’ll be with me wherever I go.
