Life's Rollercoaster
Ellen...alone, with a house, but not a home;
Not wanted by family;
Mom's dead just like her Dad
and Grandma is resting in peace.
Slaving, working all the time;
She thought she had it bad...
Five houses to finally finds a home
And she still doesn't have life too bad.
But Starletta... poor, lonely
And discriminated against
Because of her skin color,
Is still content with life.
Ellen ponders....maybe life isn't so bad for me.
