what are you doing to me?
I can’t even write about you
 because the moment
 you enter my mind my
heart starts to quiver and my lips
stop beating; maybe it’s the other way around.
My hearing is fuzzy, eyes unfocused,
 fingers tapping nervously.

You are not pretty words written in my
 memories; You are barbed wire
and ice and stone and I cannot stop
 loving You.
