DO you get scared to go home?
Do you fret?
Fear?
Do you cry?
Do you regret?
I go home everyday thinking...Is he happy? Is he mad? You hope he turns out to be glad. Wait. He's mad. Damn. You tremble. You notice your thirty minutes late from coming from school. You. You shake. You avoid. You yell inside. You walk past by him and quickly say "Hi." He doesn't respond. You change, You go downstairs to help with your mom. Then you stay. Everyone leaves. Your alone, thinking "whuff" But... You hear footsteps He's coming. You freak out again. You tremble. You hide your things. OMG. He's here. You look up at him. He's tall, Big, Heavy. Scary. He ask you,"why are you late?" You don't know what to say. You stand there one minute. Breathless.
Then your glasses come off. He asks you one more time. Tears start welling up in eyes. You don't respond. All of a sudden WHACK!!! You see black for a second. You cry. Your hair starts to hurt under his hand. You got your hands on his take away some pain. He throws you back. He says, " This is the last time you do this." He leaves. You cry in tears. You go into the bathroom. Look in the mirror. Ugly. A white tattoo on your face shaped as a hand. You feel your head. Ouch! A bump. A bruise. You weep. And weep. And weep. You go to your room cry yourself to sleep.
Black.
You wake up, dress to school. Go. You tell everyone, " I'm okay." You smile, laugh, talk. All fake. The day ends. You start too get back to reality. You get on the bus with your two best friends. you get off your stop. Say goodbye. Then you think, Is he happy? Is he mad?

Many Kids get abused by their own family I wrote this poem to tell all teenagers to never stay quiet. I wan them to not feel scared like I was. We have a voice and it really needs to be heard.
