"Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy. And ideas are bulletproof." -V, V for Vendetta

Glass smashing, flesh gashing, blood gushing
It’s deep, all the way to the muscle, cutting out the flesh of the calf,
leaving a hole of what used to be.
The crimson blood spills across the scarlet fleece, almost as if it never happened.

Writhing, agonizing, suffering
Sharp white bolts of pain erupt,
releasing an animalistic howl.
Clasping the bloody cavity
And grimacing with a clenched jaw

Screaming, crying, yelling.
Was it screams of laughter or of pain
The mother could not tell
She returned to a murderous scene,
Her child in a dark pool,
Motionless except for rising and falling chest

Flashing lights, blaring sirens, blood flowing
The rattling of equipment all around,
The overwhelming smell of ammonium
The child falls into shock,
Everything slowly drifting away,
Leaving only the image of the mother’s distressed face.

When I was 10 I stuck my leg through a glass window pain, trying to kick it shut. Use your hands. I got 58 stitches.
