You Try Being A Teenager
You try being a teenager,
In these painful times,
You think we have it easy?
You're wrong.
We have so many hard choices now,
Smoke?
Drink?
Steal?
Lie?
And so many more.
But does anyone care?
No.
They think that we have it easy,
We go to school and that's it.
Our life is "perfect."
Well, you're still way off.
We have to try way too hard to get good grades.
We have to turn down all the stupid peer pressure.
We have to decide what friends are good and who aren't.
We have to work hard to get our life on track.
Do we have help with this?
No.
We have to do this all on our own,
And it never ends,
Not even for a second,
You think,
Teen's have it made,
But no.
So now you try being a teenager.
