the beast

The beast lingered anxiously
As they grew closer and closer
Smell of the children scented the forest
Hungrier beast became
As they approached
Where the beast was hiding
It pounced getting one
Setting the others running
Now it’s just a big game of
Cat and mouse
One by one the
Children were
Staining the beasts teeth
One by one they were
Devourer
Only a few survived
Still being hunted
So watch your back.
