My blood pumping

My body deep in the saddle

I tense up on the reigns

As I lean forward a buzzer goes off in my head

Simultaneously I pressure my horse with my spurs and click with my mouth

In an instant she is off waling towards the opposite end of the arena

The Frostbite wind agents my face

The long stride run

The reaction to my every command

That moment I new this short, buff, speedy mare was the horse for me
