There, in the beginning,
our atoms were
next to each other

That was all we know:
each other.
That was all we had ever known

There was light, and night,
and things that
walked the earth

I opened my eyes,
to a sea of blue;
my first thought was of you

You were far, far away -
across the sky and it’s moon.
You called to me; telling me to come home

I ran through
the fires of hell,
and through the fields of heaven

You were in my heart,
even when the sun
stopped shining

I will find you, I promise this:
You are all I know about,
and the only thing I’ve ever known

Next to each other
our atoms were.
There, in the end

I'd like to believe, that when the world was in creation, my and my soul mate were atoms floating right next to each other. And now, we're just trying to find each other again.
