beach
Sitting on the shore
Sunlight tickling my skin
Sand in my hair and in between my toes
The cooling breeze
Roar of the waves
Wing-flapping sea gulls searching for food
Each time the tide comes higher up the shore
Closer to my feet which are covered in sand
I don’t want to leave
Tons of sandcastles being built
The mix of blue when the water and the sky collide
In one thin line
Sea shells gleaming from the sand
My mom says the storm is coming
We need to leave
My peace is disrupted
But i will come back again
