Don't Wake Me Up

I can be lost in a world,
in more than one world,
just as long as I don't look up,
just as long as I don't turn around.
One moment can electrify,
make the mind seem limitless,
conjuring fantastic images
no one will ever see.
Next thing I know,
my world is invaded
by unwanted clones
of society's conformity.
They don't understand,
they never will.
Getting lost in my dreams
beats being found in reality.
