The diamonds penetrated the sky,
Darkness on its upper flight,
The sun long ago met its demise,
Fingers of shade swept across the land,
Mist seeps through the hands of trees,
And all the ancient mysteries
Awake upon the earth
The long forgotten raven calls, a song of death upon the harsh wind
Leaves dance a deadly jig, welcome the night, the spectral black, everlasting.
But fear not, his majesty is coming, let hope spread across the valley
The sun will rise again, with all of its splendor, the beauty, the rubies of red, and golden crown,
The snakes of light, the shiver of warmth felt across the world
The earth survived the slumber, the bird's song plays once more, a tune of gratitude and excitement,
The river flows with crystal water, the grass is emerald again,
And the world rejoices.
