What Love is Like

Like the knights of old we
solve our problems with violence
and duking it out man to man.
This is the only thing we know
this is how problems are solved.
Granted,
even the wrong glare
can set him off. He keeps his
head for the beast controlling
his every move and breath.
The feathers on his back
keep him grounded and
unable to do anything,
but the dedication he owes
to the beast has him seeing new heights.
