You close your eyes to go to sleep,
What takes your mind over?
The blackness of oblivion
Takes mine.
Pulling everything in
While I run away
Never accepting my fate.
I reach for the last stable object
And it flies in
Trying to take me with it.
I reach for a person
Who isn't stable
But one that I can lean on
To keep each other stable.
But he lets go
Before I can get up
And I fly back with him
In front of me.
Dying with me.
