Into Darkness
I miss you so much.
I want to pick up the phone and talk to you, but even if I do, you’re not who you were. You’re there, but you’re not.
I miss the boy who told me he loved me, and held me like he would never let me go. Maybe he knew in his heart the hints of things to come. Of how he would lose himself into this madness. I miss the feel of your hand in mine, where things would just make sense.
I know I have to be strong for you, but it’s easy to fear when you’re so far away.
I’m afraid.
