Gone.
Closing your eyes and wishing it will all go away, never works. Pinching yourself, never works. And slapping yourself out of it, also never works. You see, our parents put us on a path to believe that anything, and all things are reachable. But they never tell you, that at the end of that path, there's nothing left to reach for. Nothing else to grasp, but open air. And at that moment, all those hopes, dreams, and wishes you had, seem to be nonexistent. Something so desired upon you, vanishes at the reach of your fingertips.
