Warm summer night
In the middle of Paris
There’s a small café

Chairs and tables fill the cafe
As the gold light from the inside
Shines on the people sitting and eating.
French music playing in the background..

The soft voices.
The clinging of the forks hitting the plates.
The sound of traffic from the distance.
And the wind blowing through the trees.

People walk by,
Carrying bags from local markets,
Making their way home.

Stars fill the night sky.
The moon shining down on the streets.
Paris is beautiful during the night.
