The Fiercest of All Warriors?

I stalk my prey from a distance
My foes try to distract me from my target
I creep closer upon it
It sits, cowering in fear
My eyes are glued to it,
Watching its every movement.
My claws dig in
They pierce its tan skin
I wait to hear it scream,
But do not get one.
It’s as if this is its wish.
Delicious scarlet goo
oozes from its insides
I devour it
Unrelentingly
Savoring
Every mouthful
As it slides
Down my gullet
Into my stomach,
It doesn’t resist.
It accepts its inevitable death
Because it has no choice
A peanut butter and jelly
Can’t fight back
