Destitute
Seeing is believing, or so they say
I say seeing is believing with faith
For blindness could not take my sight
Nor could darkness shroud my light
My faith is my cane, and the Lord is my sheen
Without ever seeing I’ve already seen
Standing tall on His shoulders I gaze all around
He offers saving to those on the ground
Some mock, deny, even laugh when He speaks
They say it’s not real, they say it’s not He
I pray someday they can understand
Sometimes seeing takes more than a man
