Winter
Winter Poem
 Calm.
 Peaceful.
 Crisp
Hence is the way of snow.
The snow that falls gracefully as leaves in fall.
Hence is the way of winter.
 Cold.
 Trembling.
 Afraid.
This is the way of man.
This is the way of nature.
Ice covers the trees with grace.
 Wind whips softly,
 Whispering a sweet sound,
 Rustling the branches.
Fresh air coats the world in an aroma that mystifies.
Blankets of snow flow across the landscape,
 Unbroken,
 Untouched,
Except by the small footprints of deer,
 Dancing gracefully in the wonderland.
Beauty that man has always dreamed of,
 But could never achieve.
 Captivating,
 Intriguing,
 Inviting,
And yet just out of reach.
