Julyy
Shorts, barely covering;
shirts, low-cut and skimpy,
parents yelling as we laughed and ran off,
following trouble where ever it went.
Legs pressed against legs,
stomach against stomach,
sticking together
with sweat and desire.
Smoke, slowly descending towards the sky,
from our make-shift bonfires
and curling from the cigarettes pressed between our lips.
Hazy nights and exciting days
free from stress and worries
if only for a month.
