My Brothers
We left you one day with little regards
I didn't know it'd be the last time I'd see you
with garbage bags filled with our whole lives in them
except you three
we left.
And everyday since I've wondered.
Were you funny?
Were you shy?
Would you have been good brothers,
Would you have been bad?
I try to forget like my mother wants me to
but I just cant
the memories are there
floating around the edges of my thoughts
hopelessly I waited to hear from you,
a letter, a call
but nothing ever came
till one day MySpace
it was weird.
you were complete strangers
and yet,
you were the brothers I'd known
my whole life it seemed.
A reunion of the best kind.
