Take it from a person’s point of view
Not everything is what it is supposed to be
Not everything you read or see in movies
Is exactly what goes on in real life
I mean come on
Prince charming?
Happily ever after?
How about happily if we ever make it after?
Or how about how much of a royal pain in the ass he is
But that his charming smile always makes it better
In the end
It doesn't matter what you've heard or seen
What matters is most of it
I hate to break it to you
Is based only off the struggles and forces
You wish to endure
Because love isn't like the fairy-tales
Because life isn't like the movies
Because both are absolutely ridiculous
Each day you have live your life with rules
Regulations
Guidelines, if you dare call them that
You wake up
You play out your everyday activities
You come home
You eat
You fall asleep
Then wake up in the morning to do it all over again
How dumb does that sound?
Pretty stupid in my opinion
All the mean while
Having to maintain the idea that you are happy
Your life is perfect
And your dreams coming true
Wait, hold on stay with me for a second
I know what you may be thinking
My life isn't like that though?
EXACTLY my point
Society has developed the image of life
Into a joke
Imagination is key
You simply imagine doing something
And wham it comes true
Society branding its self as your fairy godmother
Yet again, sorry to break it to you
But at the stroke of midnight
All those day dreams and magical inspirations
Gone in a blink of an eye
Looking back on that
How would you deal with it?
I know personally,
My life was chaotic hell
I fell apart when I knew the story was over
I had no direction in which I was going
And no destination in which to obtain
But that doesn't have to stop you
This world is what you make it out to be
So what if you got a little meat on your bones
So what if you know a little more than others
SO WHAT IF YOU ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE IDEA OF PERFECTION
Because in my opinion
We are all perfect
With or without our fairy-tale endings
So go out there
Take back your story
Rip out all the pages
And let your own opinion speak for you.
