Some say its fates doing.
I say it’s a strait brewing.
Eyes of neither the fiercest dragon, nor the fiercest man could compare,
to the man who sits in the shadows, forcing the demons down through his core.
Though many are here still, many have fled in the night, gone with the harsh winds by morning.
Understanding is no more, more of simply making do with what is left.
I am loyal to the shadow man, not of fear, simply of understanding.
Being where he is, that is something only the bravest can do.
Ending it is the only thing he shall believe is right, but for the loyal he shall fight.
Though what is left is simple, me, and I too must go.
Though I shall not leave the shadow man, no.
Instead I shall take his place.
