Remembering You
Do you remember?
 I do.
When you looked me in the eyes,
 and said goodbye.
 When you left,
 all I did was cry.
 You saw the tears,
 you ignored the pain.
 et you still,
 got off that plane.
 Seven days,
 turned into seven years.
 I stopped crying eventually.
Bucked up and wiped my tears.
 I'm not six anymore.
 I know you don't care.
 But still it hurts,
 because love should be shared.
 I miss your hugs,
 I miss your smiles.
 But they're in California,
 3,000 miles away.
You say you care about me,
 but I know you don't.
 I beg you to try,
 but you just won't!
 I want a father,
 one with a heart.
Too bad you will never get,
 as second start.
 I remember everything,
 because I still love you.
 I remember.
 Do you?
