She Moved Away

I tried my best
I was nice to her
Nice wasn’t enough

She tried to hold a straight face
even though the tears were trying to break her wall

When she moved away
I felt sad
Really sad
Maybe I could have done something

She moved away
Her new house was right on God’s doorstep
