down the lain one day
While walking down the lain one day
A man in black come up to me and said,
"for I am who you look for every night."
his face, faint and chilled yet inviting to me.
he took my hand, me happy to be leaving
this place that has caused me so much pain.
he leads me into the dark, so calm so dark,
and yet I relax slowly giving into his grip.
we stop, his bony frigid grasp drifts away,
but I am finally completely happy.
