I want to hear a poem
A poem about this world
A poem about the struggles
A poem about the attrocities
that occur in this world

The government
Corrupt and money hungry
Politicians in it
for themselves
Every chance they get
They try to profit
Greed coursing through their veins

The welfare of the common man
Is of no importance
To many corrupt officials

We slave, we toil, we work
They take our money
Up to one third our paycheck
Frivolous they spend
Our hard earned cash

Third world countries
Their settlements in shambles
Disease rampant
Dying for food
These atrocities
continue without aid
