The Darkness of Me
Shaky hands
empty breaths
tear socked cheeks
burning salt
confushion over comes my senses
happiness replaced by unexplainable sadness
alone in darkness
lost from love
scared
scared not being found my hopes slipping away. Fading into unknown me
afraid
not coming back giving up on trying to hide from it
It will always find me
begin to accept what my darkness brings
light not just light a hand someone to cradle me
to catch me when I fall
to accept me bringing me back
wrapping me in concert nursing me away from my darkness
no longer scared not being found
reassure love this light
this hand
savor I love
will always be thankful this light brought me back when I was lost
alone in the darkness of me.
