I lie sleeplessly in my bed,






pleading for him to comfort me.






I wish to savor that feeling,






all darkness fades as he arrives.





Making this lonsome feeling evaporate.







A truce made in our prank war,






when he sees me alive and well.






Smothered in his bear hug,






our father-daughter bound,









Unbreakable.
