You only want me to fear them
You've only taught me to fear them
You won't even allow me to hear them
It is forbidden to try and go near them

Fear them
You may jeer at them
And sneer at them
But steer clear of them
Hush and hide
Dare I tell you
I shared tears with them
I tested your stories
I slowly neared them
I am dear to them
No
You only wish to fear them
But know this to be truth
We're them
