An Entertained Fury
It rips through the skin of my brain,
Seemingly uncontrollable,
The man says I leave paths of destruction,
If only he could see the path I've engrained.
As if chains were locked on my spine,
All consuming,
Paralyzing,
Crippling fear at the face of such anger.
Time allots my realization of my ownership,
Watching such violence unfold,
In the fragile creases of mind,
Yet again, controlling.
A wet, sticky substance cleanses my cheeks,
I have done nothing,
Nothing to prevent such fury, violence,
It will remain forever entertained.
