Troche
Filthy although he was,
Robert looked steadily at his watch.
To dissolve his insipid flaws,
he bit into his happy troche.
But what of his filth?
Was he but a slave,
doomed to eternal tilth?
All for a quick lave.
Watching steadily, Robert
slipped the noose around his ear.
His watch stared back in horror,
as he emerged from his filth.
