Where I'm from. . .
I’m from the arms of my mother
now I am squirming
from my mother’s loving and caring grasp to the floor.
I’m from crawling
to walking,
now running from my playful mother.
I’m from a place of unsecured,
to leaving my Mom and now in a new place.
I’m from a home that cares and loves me
more dearly then my mother,
would ever done for me.
I’m from the edge of Sumas
with my Mom and Dad
who love me
with their whole heart.
I’m from a person that is my only one
I would care for the rest of my life.
