Frozen in Place

I was frozen in place like an ice cycle hanging over the rooftop. Waiting. Just waiting to crash to the ground with a plop.
I was frozen in place. Just call me a snowman. A person stuck where they were standing. Screw getting a tan.
I was frozen in place. Everything was frozen except for my heart. My heart melted. It came apart.
I was frozen in place. It was like being stuck in quicksand. There’s only one way out, so give me your hand.
I was frozen in place with the world rotating around me. I need to shine my light. If only you could see.
