It is Wednesday, December 18th,
Two days till Christmas break.
Today is the trip to the ROM
And I am looking forward to it.

8:20am is the time we leave for the long bus ride there.
Heading off, I feel my mind jumping for joy
For the history that it will learn today.

The scenery is plain, but beautiful in a way.
The snow covers the trees
That are free of all leaves.
The ground is covered with white fluffy snow
Leaving only strands of vegetation to be seen.
The river is frozen over with ice,
With a layer of snow resting upon it.
The highway is clear and we are going pretty steadily.
The view of the town laid out before me
With snow-covered roofs,
Evergreen trees sprinkled with snow
And miles of tree reaching for the ocean
In the background of this wonderful scene.
Create a beautiful site that is beyond amazing.

I may see the true beauty,
Tis so high on the scale of simplicity.
Seeing all this beauty engulfing me,
I long for the scenery in the States.
I long to be there to experience the sight.

I dream of the hills,
I dream of the trees,
I dream of the snow,
I dream of the memories
I create when I am there.
I dream of the good times,
Wishing to be there once more.

I dream to be there,
Yet what God placed before me
Says it all in my mind,
That wherever you go,
Beauty you’ll find
In the hearts of all people
In the trees and the hills that surround you once more.

You may long to be there,
But beauty is everywhere.
Seek and you’ll find the beauty
Hidden within what appears before you.
