You. Don't Take the Comfort Away.
Stop.
Please stop.
Stop taking over my thoughts,
Stop controlling my actions.
I can't see;
I can't breathe.
My heart is so heavy.
It pulls me down to the floor,
Dragging me against the jagged rocks,
Trying to find the comfort it needs.
But you;
You steal the comfort right before my heart can grasp it.
You hide it somewhere cold and hard to reach.
You.
You scratch at my confidence until it's torn up inside of me;
Until it's useless.
Running away is pointless.
You drop that damn mirror in front of me,
My distorted figure staring back at me;
It's not true.
It's such a sick lie.
But though I despise everything that you are,
I obey your demands;
Your death sentences.
So I don't eat.
You.
You tell me to starve.
You tell me to starve until i'm ill;
You tell me to stave until i'm beautiful.
But You.
I know the plan you have for me Ana.
And this horrid scheme of yours;
It might succeed.
Ana,
You might just be the death of me.
