day after day artist roam the street looking for their next canvas. But there is one girl that no one meets, no one knew, no one greets. her art was her thoughts and she only thought of her angel. For her, this angel loved and fought to see a smile that had left, so long ago. The girl pain ted every day until dark then gave it a beautiful mark. On her paper, in her dreams she wondered 'where is he'?. Then one day in her home she saw the man that she waited for so long to see. He stood and smiled at her beauty as she ran in to his strong arms. But as she came closer so did his uniform too. His American patch and camo shirt and pants. Sheets of glass covered her eyes when she saw her painted angel passed on and she never said goodbye. Her painted angel went to rest in her heart and mind.

this piece goes out to all the men and women that serve in the armed forces. And to all who have passed on to a better place. They will be dearly missed.
