I Don't Understand

I don't understand
Why people take advantage of the innocent
Why there is still nothing being done about the rise of violence
Why anyone who requires help don't get the attention they need
But most of all why people view differences as weaknesses
Why "isms" still exist in our modern society
Why there is such need for oppositions to happiness
I do understand
Why I love the people that I do
Why music can be so potent
Why actions are more valuable than mere words
