Emotions are like a wave
Crashing along the shore
Erasing all hope that there is a way.
Emotions growing like a whale.
Huge, and always seen.
Emotions are the structure to keep life together.
--Or rip the seams away
Emotions give life meaning
--Or give it all away
Emotions make you feel.
--Until you go numb
Emotions build the pieces of the puzzle
--Or destroy it like a child
Emotions are meant to guide you
but always lead you astray
