Unknown Savior
She crawls under the bed trying not to make a sound,
As she hears footsteps creeping up the stairs.
She hears the loud thud of his stomps against the ground,
He is searching, he is searching for me, he is gonna find me,
this is how I am gonna die, I am gonna die, he is coming this way.
He swings open the door in one swift, shrieking motion
The door slams against the wall making a loud cracking sound.
He starts his sick game of hide-and-seek.
Her muscles tense up as she holds her breath in fear.
He slams open the closet causing the door to ricochet.
He looks inside angered by sight of nothing, and no one.
He is angry, the bed is next, I am next, this is how I am gonna die.
She breaks out in a cold sweat that is now rolling down her forehead
Mixing with the tears already upon her cheeks.
She feels him getting closer as he kneels down beside the bed.
She saw the tip of the knife and caught her reflection in it.
I have to get out, I can’t die, I won’t die.
He lowers his head to look under the bed
As she hears a loud piercing scream echo through out the house.
She grabs her mouth, and touches her throat,
But it was not her that bellowed such a scream.
But there is no one else here its just me and him, who screamed who was that.
It came from down stairs, it had fooled him as he ran
Tearing down the stairs to investigate the noise.
She ran out of the room down a corridor.
I have to find a way out, how can I get out?
She heard loud banging from two rooms away
She heard him scream and everything fell silent.
She stumbled upon the front door in a daze.
I have found freedom, I am free.
She sprinted through the door, out on to the lawn.
She looked back to see the evil within that house
But instead saw a little boy standing in the doorway.
He was pale in a transparent kind of way
And he was wearing weird clothing not from this era.
There was no doubt in her mind he had saved her
She looked at him with smiling eyes thanking him for her life.
