I am an angel who can’t fly and can’t soar
But everyday I open my wings and run to the door
Knowing I'm going to fall and have to get back up again
Helps me know and understand I’m getting closer to the win
Every time I walk I feel a little bit higher
In each step I take I’m running away from the fire
Trying to wait and trying to hold on
Just gives me time to realize life doesn’t haven to go on
Not regretting anything I have done
But only thanking the past, for I have won
Fighting hard to become who I am
And for all the little petty things my mind don’t give a damn
For all those who gave me a hard time
I want you to know it’s my turn to shine
So don’t try and hold me back now cause I’m on the roll
It’s crazy how life let me get by with a free toll
I’m like a cell phone with only certain amount of minutes
Once you try to use me this little lady is finished
So no more don’t do this or don’t do that
Just let me live instead of getting snapped at
Right about now me got like five minutes left
But since I’m tired of listening
How about I play deaf

I liked this poem a lot! I loved the last line about playing deaf because it sounded so cool! Great job!
